SSON’s annual Shared Services Excellence Awards honor, recognize and promote those shared services organizations that demonstrate winning practices for their own organizations.
The Shared Services Excellence Awards form the industry’s benchmark in terms of best practice and business excellence.
The Shared Services Excellence Awards are open to all SSOs from all countries. The awards are judged by a leading panel of industry experts and provide an opportunity for shared services professionals to gain recognition for excellence and initiative.
SHARED SERVICES EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2008
Proudly hosted by IQPC, the awards are now in their fifth year. The awards are held across four continents (Asia, USA, Europe and Africa) and the winners are announced at the largest shared services event on each continent.
WHY SHOULD I ENTER?
The awards are great motivation and provide the opportunity for some much deserved recognition. The awards ceremonies themselves are also great fun and provide a chance for teams to celebrate together and do some networking and benchmarking.

"We are absolutely delighted with the win. There isn’t usually a great deal of internal recognition within shared service centres, except by those directly involved in the centre itself. So it’s particularly special to get external recognition from your peers, rather than purely by your customers who would naturally expect you to do a good job…Winning has also been great for offering our internal customers a benchmarking perspective for their centre…" Marco Besseling, Financial Service Centre Manager, DuPont

“We were absolutely delighted to win two awards with very strong competition in both categories. Whilst the individual award is personally motivating, the recognition of the hard work, effort and enthusiasm of all my colleagues in shared services by winning such a prestigious overall award has been tremendous in building internal morale…"
Tony Williams, Head of Group HR Shared Services, Royal Bank of Scotland
