HR Shared Services Director

As part of our client's growth we are looking for a HR Shared Service Director to set up, lead and continually improve a world class HR shared service function within the Customer Support Centre (CSC) environment to multiple internal and external clients.


This role requires an experienced HRSS Leader with professional experience in establishing and managing a HRSS function environment. The HRSS Director should have;

Good understanding of shared service sector and working in a multiple client environment.
Experience of operating in large-scale complex organisations with diverse stakeholder communities
Strong change management experience
Experience of managing large teams (circa 50).
Experience of transitioning HR operations into a HRSS environment desirable
Oracle ERP, MS Office, general PC computing or similar desirable
Basic employment law knowledge
Flexible in working to tight deadlines
Ability to encourage and motivate staff
Presents oneself positively
Has a high attention to detail Key competencies will include;

Inspiring leadership skills Key Accountabilities

The HRSS Director will have wide ranging responsibilities including;

Develop HR Shared Services function, catalogue and associated costing for charge back to clients.
Develop and adhere to robust service level agreement and related performance KPI's between the CSC and its clients
Review and optimise HRSS processes, controls and procedures with an emphasis on continuous improvement
Manage headcount and overall HRSS budget and ensure continuous improvement to productivity
Manage the performance of the HRSS team, ensuring people are developed, motivated and receive regular performance reviews
Participate in regular service reviews with clients
Provide professional guidance on HRSS matters
Work closely with the Employee Services function to ensure the effective flow of data and information between the two functions
