Brent Rogers

Brent Rogers serves as a Managing Counsel in the Office of Privacy, Technology, Information and Contract Services at Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company in Columbus, Ohio.  In this role, Brent supports Nationwide’s Supply Management Services area by negotiating contracts for the procurement of data, software, SaaS, consulting and other products and services.  In the past, he has held various legal and contracts positions at LexisNexis, Sterling Commerce and Bank One.  While his past experience includes serving as a corporate generalist, his practice has focused primarily on negotiating information and technology transactions.  Brent has experience negotiating international contracts and has represented companies on both the sales and procurement sides of transactions.  He has negotiated technology alliance and software channel contracts and has been a legal advisor on contract compliance, open source and Web 2.0.  Brent received BA and MBA degrees from The Ohio State University and a JD degree from Capital University.  He is admitted to practice law in the State of Ohio and holds a CIPP/US certification from the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
