I’m Diego Ribeiro, Chief Financial Officer & Compliance Manager at Hitachi Rail USA, based in Miami, FL. Hitachi Rail is a fully integrated, global provider of rail solutions across rolling stock, signaling services and turnkey railway systems, being part of the Social Infrastructure Business Segment of the larger Japanese Hitachi Group.

Born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (which I miss deeply and visit every year), I’m passionate about enabling technologies which increase productivity and converts doers into thinkers and eliminate boredom from the workplace.

I’ve built my entire career on accounting & finance, starting as a public accountant at PwC where I acquired significant knowledge on different business segments, providing both auditing & consulting services. My further work experiences include a 12-year tenure with Halliburton/KBR, focusing on large Oil & Gas engineering projects and 4 years at EagleBurgmann, a German-Japanese Global Alliance, where I last served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Americas, focusing on all matters Finance, Accounting, Information Technology & Compliance.
