Gabriel is currently the VP – M&A Projects and Businsss Transformation (Asia) for Weidmuller Pte Ltd, an innovative company in the  connectivity and smart components space providing solutions from the sensor to the cloud, in the Industry 4.0 space.

Prior to this he held roles as the Head of Shared Services APAC for HR & Accounting in the GEA Group, with Asian turnover of over Eur 1 billion and 70 legal entites. Additionally as the CFO (South East Asia) of GEA Westfalia Separator (S.E.A) Pte Ltd.

In these roles, Gabriel has clocked up 22 years of senior management experience leading and transforming organisations. This by focussing on strengthening the company's legal structure, identifying growth potential, building processes and investing significant amount of effort building teams and developing leadership potential.

Prior to joining GEA Westfalia, Gabriel was the CFO of  Eu Yan Sang. He joined Eu Yan Sang at the onset of the organisation embarking on a new expansion phase. and played an integral part in the acquisition of a Hong Kong listed company, and the subsequent integration of this entity into the group.

Gabriel is a regular speaker at conferences and events in the region. He speaks passionately about business and economic issues affecting the region, future of work, innovation and SME. He is a member of ACCA’s “Global forum for SME” representing thought leadership for SME’s worldwide. Gabriel has shared on topics of working capital and crowd funding on 938 live radio. He has also been also featured in ACCA’s A&B global magazine, the press and Singapore’s Channelnewsasia.

He sits on the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SICC) Digitalisation subcommittee.
