Philip joined as CFO of Asiatic Lloyd back in February 2016. In his role, he is currently responsible for overseeing Finance, Treasury, Controlling, Accounting, Tax, Legal and Strategy. Philip has one and a half decades of international experience in the shipping industry and in the finance sector, spanning across various companies, functions and geographies. Philip started off his career as an Asset Manager at Bernhard Schulte where he focused on Shipowning and Shipmanagement in Germany, Cyprus and Hong Kong. He then headed the Finance & Controlling department out of Hamburg at one of their subsidiary liner shipping and multimodal logistics company, which has subsequently been acquired by CMA CGM. He has experience in acquisition, restructuring, ship financing, fund management, joint ventures as well as the establishment of several regional branch offices across Europe and Northern Africa. Philip graduated from the Richard Ivey School of Business and holds an Honours Degree in Business Administration with Distinction.
