Sudip Ghosh is a versatile business leader, commercial strategist and an efficiency driven finance professional with a consistent track record of success in various multinational and local firms.

With multiple professional degrees and over 23 years of experience, he brings with him a wealth of financial expertise in the retail, distribution and service industry. Currently, he is the Chief Financial Officer for AKI Group.

Sudip started his career with Hindustan Unilever as a Banking officer in Mumbai, India. His first international assignment was with Sony Gulf in Dubai and since then he has worked with some of the leading names in the region.

After a five-year stint with Sony Gulf, Sudip moved to Tetra Pak Global Technical Solutions, with the responsibility to deliver profitable growth and design the finance and accounting roadmap to support Tetra Pak’s vision of building a Middle East operations hub in Dubai.

From 2005 to 2009, Sudip was with Al Tayer Group, looking after four companies in the distribution business of perfumes and fashion accessories across the UAE and Saudi Arabia. As a member of the senior management team, he was a key contributor to the strategic planning and implementation of the business.

In 2009, Sudip joined the AKI Group with a joint mission with the AKI board to grow the company exponentially and make the maximum optimization of its working capital.

Since his joining, the AKI Group has seen a threefold growth in business and Sudip has played a key role in the profitable expansion and success of the company.

An accomplished ex-cricketer, Sudip’s present interest lies in playing tennis, reading voraciously and traveling the world as and when time permits. He is married to a marketing professional and is a father to twin daughters.
