The FCA has set out the final rules and guidance for a new Consumer Duty that will set higher and clearer standards of consumer protection and require firms to put their customers’ needs first. Will you be ready?
The FCA’s new consumer duty has placed a tight timeline on implementing rules for open products and services by July 2023. It has placed the onus on the companies to ensure four key areas of consumer care for the protection of vulnerable customers:
Fair Value for money
Suitability of treatment
Consumer confidence in the market and organization
Suitable products to meet diverse consumer needs
A wonderful opportunity to mingle with your peers over food, drink and entertainment, while enjoying great discussion and critical guidance on how to prepare for the changes.
By invite only, a select group of 20 executives will gather February 23rd at the Cinnamon Club in London for dinner, cocktails and conversation on meeting the new FCA requirements before the summer.
