In SSON’s 2022 State of Industry survey to uncover the latest European GBS & shared services trends, 80% of respondents report that end-to-end process integration is a top priority for shared services this year. However, these sophisticated tools are high-investment solutions that require enterprise-level preparation before they’re purchased. SSOs agree, and they’ve been selective in their application. Discovery/mining has the highest adoption rate in procurement (50%) and supplier management (45%), but not in Procure-to-Pay (36%), Order-to-Cash (23%) or Record-to-Report (21%).
