Malaga is an entrepreneurial Smart City with a surrounding innovative ecosystem called Malaga Valley The Andalucian Technological Park (PTA) is home to 646 companies and employs 19,873 workers. Software development, wireless solutions, telecommunications, big data analytics, radio frequency identification, aeronautics, biotechnology and renewable energies are some of the sectors represented by the companies at the park. In 2017, the first Spanish National Digital Content hub equipped with the latest technologies in videography, 3D animation and virtual reality opened in Malaga.
