Sylvie grew up in Montreal, Quebec and holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from HEC Montreal, a major international business school.  Throughout her career, Sylvie had the opportunity to accompany many Canadian and U.S. Corporations in the development of their strategic planning and optimization of financial processes. These experiences allowed her to pave the road to success having had to deal with business transformation and change management.  She is dynamic and self-motivated leader not afraid to challenge the status quo.

Sylvie worked both on the consultant side when at PriceWaterhouseCoopers with international experience in France and, in the private sector at Covidien, Jacob, and CAE. She is now the Director in charge of the Shared services departments at Belron Canada, the leader in the replacement and repair of automotive glass in Canada. Recently, she led the automation and standardization of the Accounts payable processes and also had the opportunity to improve operational efficiency and controls through process redesign in the Accounts receivable, initiatives that both support the company’s strategic objectives.  Prior to this position, Sylvie also acted as the Director, Financial Planning & Analysis at Belron Canada where she implemented from the ground up the department, its mission and vision.  When she is not working, Sylvie enjoys spending her time spinning, gardening and recently participated in a triathlon in London, UK.
