Treasury Wine Estates (TWE) is one of the world’s largest wine companies, listed on the Australian Securities Exchange. Having built a GBS centre, they are currently working to standardize process optimization across the cultures they operate within, which can throw up multiple challenges. This site tour will give you the opportunity to meet with service heads within the GBS to understand how they work collaboratively to embed a standardized shared services centre on a global scale. They will share the challenges and successes so far and will guide you on the journey to embedding a strong, customer centric approach to service provision which excels shared services towards becoming an intelligent partner to the business.

With four campuses throughout Victoria and international presence across three continents, Monash is a truly global enterprise. They have been on a journey to centralizing their shared services model while simultaneously building a digital campus to uplift and improve experiences for researchers, students and employees.

This site tour will include a tour around the grounds of Monash University. As part of this, you will be shown the corporate building facilities, which have formed part of the centralisation of the shared services model and are where they now operate. You will also have the opportunity to visit the Alfred Hospital where the shared services have been uniquely implemented. During the tour you will be given an intimate insight into the work completed at Monash which has seen them become leaders in the shared services space in this sector.
