Main Conference Day Three: Wednesday, September 2nd 2020

11:00 am - 11:15 am SSON/CHAIRMAN'S OPENING REMARKS

11:15 am - 11:45 am KEYNOTE FIRESIDE CHAT: PETER DIAMANDIS TALKS STARTUPS, TRANSFORMATIVE TECHNOLOGY AND HOW TO TAKE ADVANTAGE DURING A TOUGH ECONOMY

12:00 pm - 12:30 pm TRACK A - LUNCH & LEARN: FUTURE-PROOFING YOUR ORGANIZATION TO COMBAT DISRUPTION

Business resiliency has become a buzz-phrase in the COVID era like RPA was two years ago in the economic boom. Business has been disrupted, and while most SSOs have discovered that they can maintain the same service levels as pre-COVID, they realize that they need to work far more proactively, as the next disruption is most likely much closer than we may like to believe. This session will detail steps HR is taking to combat this future, including:

  • Department re-orgs to ensure continuity in the face of shifting priorities
  • Maintaining company culture to keep employees engaged and productive

There is no better way to kick off the StartUp Zone than to hear from our Startup Zone sponsors about their unique product, value proposition, and the ROI they bring to shared services & GBS organizations.

How It Works:

Each startup has five minutes to pitch, focusing on how their product differentiates from what is currently in the market and detailing what problem it solves for SSOS. Attendees will rate the pitch on a scale of 1-5; based on the pitch you just saw, how likely are you to be interested in a further conversation? The top three rated startups will be invited for the finalist pitch session on Thursday, September 3rd, where they will go through an intense but fin line of questioning from the Startup Zone Advisory Board.

Have you ever had difficulty describing and managing current processes or ways to improve them within Visio or PowerPoint? Attend this session to learn how Coca-Cola Bottlers’ Sales and Services went from enduring slow, isolated, and painful tools like these to faster, more dynamically collaborative and successful approach for managing HR, Finance and Customer Service related processes. Learn how they easily transformed support for their franchised bottling companies, client support teams, and customer contact centers by mapping and managing business processes with Nintex Promapp. Coca-Cola will share their business process journey including what they needed in a process management solution, their timeline for deployment, and the positive business impact this successful approach to change management has generated since 2017

SSOs planning a Future of Work program are faced with a myriad of transformation options. To ensure long-term success for an enterprise transformation program and overall sustainability, leaders must understand the complexity of workforce transformation at every stage, from strategy development through to innovation adoption management. Join us for an engaging discussion as we explore the Future of Work Market & Disruptors and discuss specific challenges and opportunities for SSOs embarking on workforce and workplace transformation journeys.
