Patricia Tourigny

Senior Vice President, Human Resources Shared Services Magellan Health

Pat Tourigny is an HR leader with experience in talent acquisition, talent management and HR operations. In her current role, Tourigny serves as the senior vice president of HR shared services. Tourigny is working to re-imagine HR service delivery, build workforce solutions to meet the challenges facing the ever-changing healthcare industry and create a self-directed workforce for Magellan.


Considered a talent acquisition expert, Tourigny has developed innovative talent strategies for major corporations throughout her career. Tourigny began her career as a recruiter for Aetna, where she managed searches for the corporate division. After moving to a boutique search firm as recruiting director, she led executive level searches in financial services, insurance and academia. In 2006, Tourigny joined ING US Financial Services as a staffing manager and quickly assumed a wider scope of responsibilities, including talent management and employee relations. By 2009, Tourigny was leading all U.S. recruitment operations for ING.


In 2010, Tourigny joined Magellan Health as vice president of talent acquisition. In this role, Tourigny transformed the function and built a strategic partnership with business leaders. During her tenure, Magellan’s hiring increased 75 percent and the company grew from 4,000 employees to over 7,000. 


Tourigny earned her bachelor’s degree in business administration from Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts and is a Senior Professional in Human Resources.  She has earned the following certifications: Six Sigma Green Belt, Hogan Personality Assessments, Certified Personnel Consultant and 360 Coach.
