Angela Mangiapane

Angela Mangiapane is a wonderful ambassador for Mars, Incorporated, embodying the Purpose and Five Principles which guide this family-owned business every day. Her 29-year career at Mars, spanning a number of geographies and functions, is evidence of her passion and commitment to Mars. It also demonstrates the company’s mutual investment in cultivating talented leaders who continue to innovate within their roles. Angela began her career working in Service & Finance in Canada and proceeded to hold a number of roles in North America, including cross-segment financial leadership.

In 2008, she embraced a new challenge—assuming a role in People & Organization (P&O), where she quickly established herself as a competent, strategic and inclusive leader. Next, Angela held P&O leadership roles in Latin America, Drinks, Royal Canin and as global VP for Chocolate. During her tenure in the Chocolate business, she guided the P&O function; overseeing talent acquisition, development and retention for more than 17,000 Associates around the world.

In October 2016, the Mars Leadership Team appointed Angela as the Global President of Mars Global Services (MGS). In this role, she has been charged with transforming the existing shared services organization into an integrated business solutions provider that is increasing efficiency and effectiveness to truly unleash the scale of Mars. Angela leads an organization of more than 2,400 Associates providing shared solutions in the areas of Digital Technologies, Finance, P&O, Procurement, Laboratories and Consumer Insights. She partners closely with Mars senior leaders and industry thought leaders to ensure MGS is creating value and insights for Mars through unique skills, scale and technology, so Associates throughout the business can delight customers and consumers in a constantly changing world.

Angela is proud of her career journey and her passion for mentoring women leaders across the enterprise.

She’s an avid theatre enthusiast and member of the recently restored Bucks County Playhouse. She and her husband currently live in Pennsylvania and enjoy frequent visits with their children and grandchildren.
