Guy Mercier

With more than 20 years of international management experience in Finance, HR and Information technologies Guy has a long tenure in shared services organization and GBS. He also spent 8 years as VP of Finance in the USA for Solvay Pharmaceuticals (4 years in Atlanta) and for Solvay Polymers (3 years in Houston), and 7 years as head of Solvay Treasury center in Brussels. He was SEVP leading for the last 12 years Solvay GBS global operations and services strategy for Solvay. He’s based in Lisbon from where he managed globally 1.300 operators and experts in 4 regions covering 4 end-to-end processes OtC, PtP, RtR and HtR with more than 2 million transactions executed and a yearly budget of 130 M€ including IT, having delivered more than 40% administrative costs savings over those years. He’s now partner of Axelleworth Associates Ltda and senior strategic advisor for SSO & GBS in EUROGROUP.
