Daniel Rupinta

Daniel is currently the site leader of the global shared services at WR Grace and heading up the transformation of the SSC to be a strategic business partner and a value-adding center.  The Grace Global Operations Center (GOC) supports over 60 legal entities globally providing 24/5 operations covering the areas of Record-to-Report, FP&A, Accounts Payable, Procurement, MDM, HR Operations, IT and the Global Helpdesk.  To-date, the WR Grace GOC has 115 employees and we expect to grow the site to 170 employees in the two years.

Prior to his current role, Daniel was the Finance Global Service Center head of Denmark-based Vestas Wind Systems S/A overseeing over 220 staff which support over 75 countries in 6 continents covering processes related to Purchase to Pay (P2P), Order to Cash (OTC), Record to Report (RTR), Business Information Management and Controlling.

Before joining the Energy/Manufacturing Industry, he had 18 years experience in various areas in Banking and Finance (particularly in Finance and Controllership, Credit Risk Management and in Shared Services Operations). During these 18 years, he also had short assignments in other areas like (1) Internal Audit and (2) Regional Controllership (based in Hongkong).    Daniel’s last role in Citi was the head of the Financial Reporting SSC for the Americas region and he was based in San Jose, Costa Rica for over 3 years.
