Edsil Peejay Dagat is currently the Human Resource (HR) Business Partner of Dover Business Services (DBS) for Asia, and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA). As a global HR leader, Peejay has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead diverse teams to new levels of success in a highly competitive industry, cutting-edge market, and fast-paced environment. With an impressive and progressive track record of more than 16 years of hands-on experience in Labor Relations, Talent Development and Employee Engagement, Business Development, Project Leadership and Implementation, she has helped several companies in both the shared services and business process outsourcing industries reach greater heights.
Peejay, as she prefers to be called, started with DBS in 2017 and has since helped achieve for the company the recognition as one of Asia’s Top 100 Best Employer Brands from the World HRD Congress last August 2019 in Pan Pacific Singapore as well as Top 100 Global Brands this February in Taj Hotel, Mumbai. These awards are a testament of their effective use of marketing communications in attracting the best talents and developing employees with their exceptional employee value propositions, engagement initiatives and retention statistics. She set up the Shared Services Center of Dover Corporation in Cebu, Philippines and facilitated Talent Acquisition, Pre-employment processing and on-boarding of the first waves in less than the agreed Service-Level Agreement (SLA). Her work on Human Resource development does not only involve DBS’ site in the Philippines but also their other locations in China and the United Kingdom.
Prior to DBS, Peejay shared her expertise in HR with some of the biggest international companies based in Cebu including Concentrix Inc., Accenture Inc., Firstsource Solutions Limited, Sykes Asia Inc., Wipro BPO, and PeopleSupport Inc. She is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of San Carlos in Cebu and went through several professional development trainings on Legal Forum, Gallup Strengths Finder, Advanced Labor Seminar, Building Valued Partnership, Leadership Readiness, and a Franklin Covey Certification, among others. With her background and proficiency, Peejay has demonstrated a proven ability to successfully implement critical business and legal requirements to drive compliance, identify deficiencies and potential opportunities, and to develop innovative and efficient solutions for enhancing competitiveness and improving customer service delivery, across geographies.
