Gavin Ifield

Gavin is currently the Director of Global Business Services for AECOM, the world’s largest fully integrated professional and technical services firm. In his role with AECOM Gavin is responsible for the GBS strategic roadmap, vision and operations for the Asia Pacific region. This includes management of captive Shared Service Centres and operations in Australia, China, Hong Kong and more recently AECOM’s newly established Global Centre in Bonifacio Global City, Manila. Gavin also manages AECOM’s BPO partner located in India. Functions covered in these centres include Finance, HR and other global corporate services for AECOM.

Prior to AECOM, Gavin has held various leadership roles within LafargeHolcim in shared services, mergers and acquisitions, transformation and project delivery. Gavin has lead multiple shared service transitions throughout Asia Pacific and prides himself on building high performance engaged teams, effective and efficient service delivery models, continuous improvement cultures and enjoys leading transformational change.

Gavin is on the advisory board for SSON in Australia and participates regularly in SSON events domestically and internationally. He holds a degree in Business (Accounting), is a member of CPA Australia and has studied an advanced Diploma in GBS with CIMA and Hackett Group.
