Bjorn Bergabo is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) for GE Global Operations, GE’s shared services organization.
Bjorn joined GE in 1993 as a finance manager at GE Capital in Stockholm, Sweden. From there he went on to have various CFO roles in GE Capital, including GE Energy Financial Services and GE Capital EMEA, an $83 billion asset business with a wide range of commercial finance operations in 14 countries. In addition to his CFO roles, Bjorn was President & CEO of GE Capital Working Capital Solutions, a global provider of financing and servicing solutions to enhance cash-flow and treasury management.
Bjorn joined Global Operations in 2013 as the General Manager for the Europe, Russia & CIS region. In Bjorn’s current role as COO, he has led the Global Operations organization through significant transformation playing a key role in the evolution of the Global Operations operating model to support GE’s business-centric strategy.
