Jo Hart is a highly experienced and successful leader in the Global Business Services (GBS) and Shared Services area. Jo has over 30 years of experience in driving GBS strategy, and delivering improved performance, quality and service in demanding and complex organisations.
In his most recent role, Jo was the Managing Director of Deloitte’s Global Finance Services (GFS) where he led the strategic and detailed design and build of GFS. Alongside this, Jo was instrumental in the implementation of the S/4HANA ERP system, and subsequently became the leader responsible for the service delivery and performance of the operation.
Jo has recently started working as a Senior Executive Advisor to Serviceware to advise on the positioning of Serviceware’s Financial Management solutions that support some of the key challenges Jo has faced during his career in shared services. Particular areas of focus include service costing and gaining transparency over the end to end cost of service delivery.
With the recent COVID-19 Crisis has come an increased pressure to Digitally Transform, whilst simultaneously cutting costs. For many IT and Shared Services teams their initial focus was enabling an entirely virtual workforce overnight. Now they suddenly find themselves under pressure to reduce costs and increase the pace and performance of their digital initiatives. But where to start, without a clear view of the bottom line profit delivered from each of those initiatives? This workshop will look underneath the digital service transparency carpet - we’ll discuss why a deeper understanding of how IT and Shared Services are; made up, consumed, budgeted and ultimately cross-charged is essential, in order to optimise investments.
