Clara Durodié is a technology strategist specialising in applied artificial intelligence (AI) in financial services, with a focus on strategic adoption of AI for business profitability within an AI Ethics framework.
She is internationally recognised for her expertise, advising Boards of leading financial institutions, think-tanks, governments, and academia. She also mentors AI startups on funding and growth strategy. Clara is consistently named on numerous global lists of leading women in fintech, and is the Chair of the Non-Executive Directors Board’s special committee on Best Practice for AI Adoption (UK) and a member of IEEE Global Initiative on Ethics of Autonomous and Intelligent Systems (USA).
Clara has advised the World Economic Forum’s 4th Industrial Revolution Centre in San Francisco (US) on AI Board leadership requirements, the All Parliamentary Party Group for Artificial Intelligence (UK) and the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ special commission on Artificial Intelligence (Japan). In June 2018, Clara was also appointed as a member of the European Union Artificial Intelligence Alliance, an EU governmental body.
Clara started scoping the research for her Ph.D. which sits at the intersection of neuroscience, artificial intelligence and wealth management. Her focus is on how episodic memory informs how people save and invest. Before founding Cognitive Finance Group, Clara had served in leadership roles in European asset and wealth management in the UK, Switzerland, and Luxembourg. Clara is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment (UK), has a Certificate in Investment Management (UK) and holds a Master’s degree from the University of Oxford.

Mandy served in the RAF for 17 years as a pilot, flying Tornado GR4s. Since leaving the RAF, she continued her support for the services in the Volunteer Reserve (VR), through flying on the Air Experience Flight. She has also supported her local community as a School Governor, President of her local Tennis Club and as an Ambassador for the Sport and Physical Activity Alliance for Hampshire County Council. She is also on the Board of Trustees at the Victory Services Club, London and on the Advisory Board for Positive Planet UK and the Women's Entrepreneurship & Venture Incubator Program, giving focus on encouraging entrepreneurship in non-traditional sectors.
As CFO at Mediacom North, Erica leads the business on a strong growth and acquisition trajectory, responsible for Mediacom North’s Finance, HR and Compliance functions. Having graduated from Reading University with a French Honours degree and holds a Diploma in Board Direction, Erica joined the M&S Finance graduate trainee programme, subsequently specialising in media, working for BBC Radio, MTV Europe, Liberty Media and 20th Century Fox.
Erica is passionate about diversity within business, and launched MediaCom’s first extensive Neurodiversity policy, training team managers in dyslexia, dyspraxia, autism, and ADHD, changing recruitment practices. This training has turned Mediacom into a diverse and friendly environment which has won and been shortlisted for numerous awards in 2018 alone, including Media Network of the Year, Finance Team of the Year, and CFO of the Year.
