How do you, step by step, move "up the value chain" and become a business partner as opposed to service provider? NSG's Shared Services group has received plenty of accolades from senior leaders, which tells SSO leader, Mike Stops, that they are doing something right. "People are coming to our door requesting help, rather than us looking for business" he tells SSON's Barbara Hodge. The results he's had are spectacular.
Mike puts this success down down to the people management strategy he’s applied. And that means acting as a talent incubator for the business, too.
