Day 1 - 8 September 2026

10:30 AM Shared Services, SAP, and AI Readiness: Building the Operational Foundation for Scalable Automation

Shared services leaders are under pressure to turn AI ambition into real results – but in many SAP environments, the foundation isn't ready. Data quality issues, fragmented processes, and manual workarounds continue to limit the impact of automation, analytics, and AI.

In this 30-minute session, Andrew Hayden will show why AI success depends on fixing the operational data and processes behind shared services functions like order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, and record-to-report.

You'll learn how leading organizations are using SAP S/4HANA transformation as an opportunity to replace spreadsheets and disconnected workflows with governed, scalable processes that improve data quality, increase visibility, and enable reliable AI outcomes.

The session will introduce the Operational AI Readiness Layer and share practical examples of how shared services teams can reduce manual effort, standardize operations, and build a trusted foundation for AI, analytics, and emerging agentic use cases.
