The Professional GBS® Certification is the global benchmark for leaders driving cultural and operational excellence in GBS. Developed by Inixia in partnership with SSON, this practitioner-led program is taught by the executives who created and scaled GBS at Fortune 20 companies like Procter & Gamble
More than training, it is a cultural readiness accelerator. Participants gain the frameworks, leadership behaviors, and transformation mindset required to ensure GBS becomes a strategic, self-sustaining capability rather than an episodic initiative.
The curriculum covers five core areas of GBS mastery, Foundations, Service Management, Operations Management, Transformation Management, and Leadership & Strategy, along with new 2026 content on Digital & AI Enablement. The India Cohort is conducted 100% online via self-paced learning content combined with live-instructor-led training.
Graduates of the Professional GBS® Certification join a global community of more than 6,000 certified practitioners. This. is not a loose network, but a closely connected group where leaders actively support one another, sharing insights, solving real-world challenges, and exchanging best practices across industries. Alumni benefit from continuous learning opportunities, peer-to-peer problem solving, and access to a trusted forum that extends the value of certification long after the program is complete.
This program includes five core areas of training: Foundation, Service Management, Operations Management, Transformation Management and Leadership.
The Foundations course is based on a common set of terminologies. Having a shared language is important for any discussion around the business model/operating model and understanding how to operationalize work through GBS.
The three pillars modules that build on that foundation are: Service Management, Operations Management, and Transformation Management.
The overarching module, Leadership, incorporates the skills and knowledge needed to truly liaise with the business. Leadership includes how to articulate the value proposition, constantly discover new opportunities for the business, reinvent the business model, automate, and, importantly, build key capabilities for the business.
