8:00 am - 8:30 am EST Powerful People Analytics To Improve Diversity, Equity & Inclusion

Kiran Ahuja - Director Talent Acquisition (South Asia, ASEAN, North Asia, ANZ), Smith & Nephew

Although improving diversity, equity and inclusion is a lot about cultivating a better culture and sense of belonging, it’s difficult to know how you need to change, until you know your starting point. With people analytics you can assess where your organization is, see areas for improvement and garner insights. In this session we discuss how you can implement a people analytics strategy, focusing on:

  • Where to start? Assessing the demographics of your current organization
  • Turning data into action and formulating a hiring plan
  • Benchmarking against other organizations and best-in-class

In SSON’s recent survey on the “New HR Services Delivery Model”, we found that over 70% of respondents were planning on moving to hybrid or remote working in the long-term for at least a portion of their workforce! However, despite the widespread adoption of hybrid policies, large organizations such as Google, Tesla and Apple are now recalling workers back to the office due to fears of loss of productivity. In this panel we discuss, ‘how stable is hybrid?’ as it effects shared services, looking at:

  • How are different shared services operating when it comes to hybrid vs. in-office vs. remote?
  • Now the dust has settled, how are these policies affecting productivity, retention and talent management?
  • How can HRSSC prepare for a change in policies?
  • Using technology to improve hybrid or remote working?
