Global Head of Integrated Business Services and Head of Finance Transformation Philip Morris International

Gopalan Natarajan (GN) joined Philip Morris in June 2019 as the Global Head for the Global Business Services vertical to lead the evolution of a cross-functional shared services function. In the beginning of the 2020, he also took additional charge as the leader for the enterprise wide Finance Transformation initiative. Prior to joining PMI in 2019, GN spent more than two decades with Unilever. He started off his career in India doing roles in both the finance and the supply chain functions. In 2006, he moved to Singapore and over a period of nearly a decade, did a variety of transformational roles. This included the setting up of the first commodity hedging centre for Unilever and centralizing a large swathe of operations in the region into Singapore to secure operational and fiscal benefits. In 2015, he moved to the UK served as the CFO for Unilever's GBS, Technology vertical and other central functions. GN is married to Rita and has a daughter of 20 years and a son of 13. His biggest passions apart from spending quality time with his family are music and dabbling in technology.
