Michele Rochefort

CEO AXA Global Business Services

With over 30 years of experience and an undying passion for implementing business process improvements, Michele is leading two of the largest shared and managed services entities for AXA Group. As the CEO of AXA Group Operations Business Operations and the President of GO Morocco, Michele leads ~3,600 diverse employees across India and Morocco.

Previously, Michele pursued her passion for developing excellent IT and Operations strategies that enable insurance companies to stay competitive in an industry that is rapidly evolving due to technological innovation. As a member of the Allianz Technology Board of Management until December 2021, she headed the global Transitional Applications and Decommissioning (TAD) unit and worked as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Allianz Partners.

In her current role, Michele’s ambition is to make the organizations the ‘partner and employer of choice’ by becoming a real accelerator of AXA’s growth. Additionally, the focus is to provide a great customer experience by expanding the organization’s services along the value chain. To achieve these, she is driving the “AXAllence” program which is an organization-wide, strategy revamp initiative. Several initiatives are cohesively being taken involving employees, Partners and future talent.

A true ambassador of women leadership and employee well-being, Michele uses her influence to encourage female participation in leadership and the tech industry as well as building flexible work environments that foster employee wellbeing and work-life integration. Michele holds a BA from American University in Washington D.C. and an MBA from Wake Forest University, North Carolina.
