The disruptions from 2020 resulted in accelerated digitalisation efforts within Shared Services Organisations (SSOs) as Shared Services leaders scrambled to re-evaluate existing processes, workflows and technology investments. In March 2021, the Philippines Government announced that more than 24 million people in and around Manila will once again go into lockdown, and SSOs are forced back into pure remote working environments (again). The difference however, is that SSOs in the Philippines are better prepared.
Now more than ever, Shared Services leaders are focused on the need to strengthen digitalisation efforts and optimise resources to build future-ready, value-creating capabilities. There is increased scrutiny on streamlining existing processes, re-defining the Shared Services working model and more – all with the goal of future-proofing the SSO.
SSOW Philippines Live 2021 will bring the Shared Services community in the Philippines together to discuss best practices in addressing these challenges and more.
