Chris Chandler

Chris Chandler was named Vice President, Global Strategic Sourcing of MoneyGram International in May 2015. In this role, Chandler leads all sourcing strategy, supplier relationship management, and contract lifecycle management activity for the global organization. Working closely with internal business leaders and key supplier partners, his focus is on building a world class Strategic Sourcing function that maximizes supplier value to realize the greatest return on investment. Chandler first joined MoneyGram in March 2013 as Director, Global Procurement, responsible for supporting spend management in the Marketing, Sales, Human Resources, and Compliance functions.

Prior to joining MoneyGram, Chandler spent six years in the Consumer Packaged Goods industry with Kellogg’s and Dr Pepper Snapple Group, where he was responsible for sourcing and procurement management of multiple Direct and Indirect spend categories, including hedging strategies for several market-traded commodities. Chandler began his career in the Automotive industry, spending over five years in Supply Chain Management with General Motors, before serving in the Procurement function for several more years with two large Tier I organizations.

Chandler received his undergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management from Michigan State University. He also holds an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business, along with the designations of Certified in Production an Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS and Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) from ISM.
