Head, Global Human Resource Services (GHRS) Petroliam Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS)

Nor’Aini (fondly known as Nora) started her career in PETRONAS in 1988 in the Tenders & Contracts Department. With a career that spans more than 30 years in the organisation, she has accumulated vast experiences in multiple disciplines; from Tender & Contracts, Governance, HR Strategy, Leadership & Capability Development and HR Shared Services.

Nora holds a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree from Wichita State University, USA, and a Masters of Business Administration from the University of Lancaster, UK. She currently leads the Global Human Resource Services (GHRS), strategically positioning GHRS as a superior HR service provider that prioritises positive customer experience by establishing a clear GHRS roadmap and enabling organisation structure.

Notable achievements include the automation of 36 complex HR processes, and execution of 94 LEAN Six Sigma projects, which resulted in value realisation of approximately RM24 million, with close to 700k man-hours savings. Under her stewardship, she has successfully steered GHRS from providing purely ‘transactional and administrative’ HR services towards that which provides value-added HR services to GHRS customers, both locally & internationally.

With the current HR transformation in PETRONAS, Nora has a bigger agenda of driving operational excellence at pace, positioning GHRS one notch higher.
