Manoj Kalra heads Group Business Services at Royal DSM, a Dutch multinational leader in nutrition, health, and sustainable living. He has over two decades of experience in helming Global Capability Centres (GCCs) at world-class organizations. Manoj has a proven track record of building high performance teams, defining strategy, and managing operations in large, global, matrixed environments. Passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA), he drives strategic value creation for businesses. Manoj serves on the global advisory board of SSON, the world’s largest Shared Services and Outsourcing Network. A thought leader in the shared services sector, his views and articles are often sought-after and published in leading business publications. Prior to his current role at Royal DSM, Manoj worked with McKinsey & Co in various leadership capacities across the Firm’s locations in Poland, the Philippines and India. He was part of the worldwide leadership team that oversaw the functioning of McKinsey’s GICs all over the world. Earlier in his career, he worked with Lehman Brothers, Reuters, Agilent Technologies, Crompton Greeves and ITI (Indian Telephone Industries). Manoj is a qualified chartered accountant and is based out of Hyderabad, India where he resides with his family. He is a certified SCUBA diver and enjoys running, reading and movies.
