The Professional GBS® Certification is the global benchmark for leaders driving cultural and operational excellence in GBS. Developed by Inixia in partnership with SSON, this practitioner-led program is taught by the executives who created and scaled GBS at Fortune 20 companies like Procter & Gamble.

The Foundations course is based on a common set of terminologies. Having a shared language is important for our discussion of the business model/operating model, understanding how to operationalize the work in GBS.
The three vertical pillars that rest on Foundations are: Service Management, Operations Management and Transformation Management.
The overarching training, Leadership, incorporates the skills and knowledge needed to truly liaise with the business. Leadership includes how to articulate the value proposition, constantly discover new opportunities for the business, reinvent a business model, automate and, importantly, build key capabilities for the business.

As AI continues to evolve, so too does the role of Global Business Services. The updated Professional GBS® Transformation Management module explores how GBS is moving from manual execution to intelligent, self-optimizing systems.
New content covers Human-AI Collaboration and the rise of Agentic AI—where systems don’t just automate, but proactively assist, adapt, and make context-aware decisions. You'll explore practical use cases across shared services, from Netflix to JPMorgan, and learn how to build smarter interfaces that boost productivity and decision quality.
