What is UniForum?

UniForum is a benchmarking solution and practice-sharing forum which analyses the efficiency and effectiveness of university administrative services across both cost and satisfaction. Our data informs real change through strategic planning and scenario modelling tools and a series of knowledge-sharing member events. Many universities in the Top 100 in international rankings are members of UniForum, including the leading universities in Canada (U15), the UK (Russell Group), Australia (Group of Eight) and New Zealand.

UniForum results are based on data and input from local units across the university, which is a critical success factor in achieving buy in to the results, and utilizes a proprietary method that compares universities on an ‘apples to apples’ basis regardless of size and research intensity.

By enabling universities to better understand how administrative roles and services are designed and delivered across the university, UniForum is a powerful workforce analytics tool which can be used to great effect in the design, set-up and continuous monitoring of the effectiveness of Shared Services functions.

Using UniForum, our member universities have repurposed up to 6% of their revenue from administration to the core mission of teaching and research. This has included successfully implementing multifunction shared service functions for core administrative and student services. These investments have enabled universities to enhance programs, make strategic research investments, attract leading faculty and significantly improve their world rankings.
