Ariane Schulze arbeitet seit 2017 für die BWI GmbH. Davor war sie als Beraterin für Prozessmanagement im Bundeswehr-Umfeld tätig. Nach Stationen im zentralen Prozessmanagement, wo sie u.a. ARIS-Schulungen gab und die Prozess Communities betreute, ist sie auch im Rahmen der Unternehmensentwicklung tätig. Seit Mitte 2021 bekleidet sie die Position des Team Leads der Risk & Governance Abteilung der BWI GmbH.

An internal control system (ICS) often invokes thoughts of monitoring, evaluation, sanctions and mistrust. However, an ICS can offer many positive aspects if we broaden our view of it. We should look at the ICS as an opportunity to create transparency, work together, enable improvement and make room for innovation. Yet, how is this possible if compliance with laws and standards is the basis of an ICS?
