After 15 years as an accountant and finance operations manager, a lean consultant just happened to discuss with me the following; "Why do you tell your people how to do their work?" I then realized that by the nature of their daily activity they knew more about their work than I did. I consequently shifted career path and now lead lean based transformation; firstly at Zurich Insurance and now at Nestlé. Coaching, guiding and leading transformation for the last 15 years in key financial and administrative processes in around 30 countries across the world. As Order-to-Cash Transformation Manager for Europe at Nestlé for the last 2 years, I am now driving the strategy and optimization of this key end-to-end process for 1000+ people located in European shared service centers and Market based customer service teams.
