Dan Melchior is currently the first-ever Director – Shared Services at San Diego State University and the first one in California State University’s twenty-three campus system. He has thirty years’ experience designing, building, implementing, and managing Shared Services Centers and has worked for Southern Wine & Spirits, Best Buy, Luxottica, Universal Music Group and McCormick & Company, all in a Shared Services capacity. He is the author of Shared Services – A Manager’s Journey (John Wiley & Sons).
