Nancy Lewis is the Executive Director of Sponsored Projects Administration at the University of California, Irvine (UCI).

She has been in the field of Research Administration since 1998. Prior to joining UCI, she was Director of Sponsored Projects at the University of California, Santa Barbara (UCSB) where she also served as Associate Director of Sponsored Projects, Conflict of Interest Coordinator, and Sponsored Projects Officer. Nancy has extensive experience in research administration including pre-award and post-award non-financial functions; electronic research administration; recruitment and training; and working in areas of compliance and policy. Nancy has led workshops, presentations, and discussion groups on wide-ranging aspects of research administration for the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA) and the University of California. She is also UCI’s representative to the Federal Demonstration Partnership (FDP).
