Catherine Quan

Catherine is Head of HR Operations, Global Operations North Asia.  In this role, Catherine defines and drives the strategic roadmap for GE’s HR Operations, Immigration and Payroll shared services across the region; and oversees HR Operations, Payroll & Benefits and Immigration Service Delivery teams with a primary focus on continuous process simplification and delivering all services consistent with our service excellence standards.

Catherine began her career with GE Lighting in 2002 as Human Resources Management Program (HRMP) trainee.  She then took HR leadership roles with increasing responsibilities across the HR domains including functional and P&L HRBP, Organization & Talent Development and Global Program Leadership with multiple businesses including Consumer & Industrial, Corporate, Energy, Healthcare and Global Research.  Her most recent role was Global Program Manager, HR Leadership Programs, on which role she interfaced with the HR community, across every business & region, to ensure alignment with functional strategic initiatives and to meet the changing needs of the human resources organization. 

Catherine holds bachelor degree in International Business English from Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade.
