Marcel joined Swarovski in 1998 and since then held various local, regional, and global Finance & Administration (F&A) positions in Europe and Asia Pacific. The F&A unit comprises most of the company’s corporate functions such as HR, Accounting, Controlling, Legal, Procurement, IT, Infrastructure etc. as well as their global operations.

Today, Marcel is responsible for the Global Business Services organisation and its global operations and service delivery, covering more than 30 sales and distribution companies as well as international production companies. The GBS has started its operations with a hub in Poland and Spokes in Malaysia and Costa Rica in 2016.

Next to his line responsibilities, Marcel is currently leading the transformation of the F&A organization towards the Global Business Services set-up.
