Chip Wagner was the sole "advisor" on this year’s G6 stage, and gamely defended the role of today’s advisors in sourcing evaluations – from protecting a company in appropriate transactions, to helping a client evaluate cloud computing solutions. He does offer that the cloud may change the way we buy managed services, and that we are seeing an "entirely new class of service provider" enter the stage as a result.
