How networked are we really?

The big theme today is collaboration and the networked economy. But how are companies really taking advantage of this trend? And what's limiting more whole-scale adoption? We've all bought into the network economy, and we all understand that interconnectedness, not just inside the organization but also with suppliers and the distribution network, is going to define our future.
