Rick joined Mercer in May 2016 to lead technology solution development and currently lead the Digital Technology & Delivery group. At Mercer Rick launched MercerOS, a digital technology ecosystem that powers a holistic and intelligent customer engagement through rich and consistent digital user experience, data insights, and API. Under Rick’s leadership, Mercer delivered an award-winning digital solution, Mercer Data Connector (MDC). MDC received prestigious IDG Digital 50 award in 2019 for its superior customer experience and cutting-edge technology with machine learning. Rick ran two companies of his own and joined numerous start-ups served as CTO and technology evangelist. Throughout Rick’s career, he has been a technology leader pushing the envelope to solve most difficult business problems with innovative ideas and business focus. Rick involved in the early days of electronic trading with Charles Schwab and online gaming with Excite/TEN. He later served as an engineering executive with Exigen Group to build a software platform to enable straight-through frictionless business process utility.
