When Jorge Hernandez became Site Lead at Takeda’s Exton capability center, he wasn’t stepping into a typical Shared Services environment. He inherited a complex, multi-business unit site combining shared services, legal, and senior US business leadership each with unique priorities, cultures, and expectations. His first 90 days required navigating perception gaps, legacy dynamics, and the politics of a long-tenured predecessor.
