Laura joined Newell Brands in December 2020 as Senior Director, Global Business Services (GBS) Enablement and is responsible for developing the vision and strategy for the data analytics and automation platforms to enable Newell GBS to streamline reporting, insights and processes to deliver value-added results to the Newell business units. Prior to joining Newell Brands, Laura spent 2.5 years at Scientific Games as the Vice President of Global Accounting Operations with responsibility for the enterprise order to cash, procure to pay and payroll processes. Laura also spent 16 years at Walmart in various leadership roles including Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis for Information Systems and Healthcare and Senior Director II of Shared Business Services where she provided strategic and operational leadership for shared services operations for the North American business. In this role, Laura was responsible for procure to pay, order to cash, record to report and payroll operations. Laura has a B.S. degree in Accounting and a M.B.A. in Finance from Radford University. Laura spends her “off-work” hours outside walking the dogs, hiking or learning golf. She is an avid reader.
