Simona Matu is a senior global finance and operations leader with over 20 years of experience across pharmaceuticals and FMCG. She is currently Global Service Delivery Lead at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, a privately owned, research driven biopharmaceutical company . Ferring's Global Business Services organisation supports multiple countries globally, delivering finance services at scale.

In her role, Simona is accountable for end to end global finance service delivery across 60+ countries, spanning Record to Report, Order to Cash, and Accounts Payable within a multi provider GBS model. She has a strong track record in strengthening financial controls and applying automation and AI to improve invoice capture, prevent duplicate invoices and payments, and enable proactive supplier statement reconciliation.

Simona is Hackett Institute GBS certified and a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach, known for combining rigorous governance with people focused leadership.
