In shared services, the ideal process is one that is end-to-end. In other words, a workflow that starts at the beginning and encompasses all the steps involved in that specific process, through to completion. This is no simple task, often requiring cross-departmental collaboration, intense documentation, strong governance and change management initiatives. But the rewards are worth the effort. In this workshop, our leader will provide action points for each benefit of an E2E process including: 

  • Managing the entire process to identify bottlenecks, reduce redundancies and improve overall effectiveness of the process 
  • Improved quality and customer satisfaction: Utilizing methodologies like Six Sigma to allow organizations to standardize processes and minimize errors, resulting in higher quality outputs and increased customer satisfaction, which enhances the end-user experience and also strengthens the organization’s reputation 
  • How to manage key stakeholders, communicate needs and changes and keep everyone in lockstep

The integration of AI represents the next pivotal transformation in shared services and GBS. As SSOs and GBSOs are often on the front line in embedding these technologies as a starting point within an organization, leaders must act now to build the playbook to tailor AI’s potential. This workshop will equip participants with the strategic insights and practical approaches essential for cultivating the foundational capabilities necessary for a successful AI transformation. In this session workshop leaders will: 

  • Instruct on AI jargon, ensuring you know the difference between an LLM and NLP (and more!) 
  • Outline AI readiness requirements, including structured data, internal champions, use case identification, etc. 
  • Sketch the ideal AI-skilled employee, and where those don’t exist, strategies to upskill or to find the right talent
