Anke Steffen is the Finance Lead and a key member of the Global Enterprise Solutions leadership team at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. Since joining in 2001, she has held various leadership roles, including Global Head of Accounting and Closing Services and CFO for Merck GesmbH in Austria and the Baltic states. Anke specializes in business process design and automation, driving financial governance, and managing complex ERP implementations. Her leadership has significantly enhanced financial operations efficiency and effectiveness across more than 290 legal entities worldwide. She plays a crucial role in advancing operational excellence and leading strategic transformation initiatives that support Merck’s long-term success.
