Asko is a seasoned corporate development and transformation professional who enjoys leading, transforming, shaping solutions, implementing change and getting things done both in inhouse and consulting capacities. Asko’s background is a combination of Big4 consulting and industry experience - earlier in his career Asko worked for EY and Deloitte, and over the past five years he has been leading transformation efforts at Cargotec Corporation, covering a range of responsibilities, including but not limited to; ● Finance transformation leadership, responsible for program execution covering global operating model design and GBS/SSC deployment across multiple countries ● Major merger and demerger initiative leadership in the finance function domain ● Setting up shared services in the APAC region - an assignment in Singapore to establish shared services hub, resulting a successful launch despite Covid disruption ● Leading functional strategy planning and execution Having shifted from consulting to inhouse represents desire to take ownership of own advice and recommendations and drive change over true end-to-end implementation journeys.
