Carlos has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and a Financial Management Degree from ISCAP, Politécnico do Porto. He is passionate about people, sports, numbers and leads teams by promoting a growth mindset, performance culture and employee experience in organizations. With his contagious spirit, Carlos always tries to get everyone motivated while playing their roles. Carlos joined adidas in 2009, as accountant and he has been working in the company since then. At the beginning the Porto team had only 12 members and now the office counts with more than 800 employees, with Carlos as key player for this transformation. Since January 2018 he is Porto Hub leader and as of 2021 VP for GBS Operations. Nowadays, Porto Hub is more than GBS organization with TECH, Supply Chain Management and Digital are also part of Porto’s portfolio. And last but not least, Carlos is a huge Star Wars and FC Porto fan.
